48 Host Community Girls Developing Skills in Female Tailoring and Dressmaking.

Location: Ukhiya and Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar

Funded by: BRAC

Under this project, the targeted adolescents will receive training for 6 months on various trades such as computer operation, sewing, mobile servicing, carpentry, etc.  to enhance their capacity and to engage them in employment opportunities. Such an initiative will contribute to employment opportunities for the unemployed adolescents living in the host community. A total of 200 learners are enrolled to develop skills for the dropped-out adolescents in 9 specific trades. Among them 42 adolescent girls are increasing skills in Tailoring and Dressmaking for female. Successful completion of training will increase their capacity to support their own family as we as to get job in their the local markets.
