HEALTH​ PROGRAM

Prantic Unnayan Society (PRANTIC) has been providing health services to the marginal, displaced and underprivileged people since 2018 with the funding support from OBAT Helpers Inc. USA. PRANTIC started providing health services firstly in Camp-4, Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar for the Rohingya Community, however, it has been extended to Bhasan Char, Noakhali with the same donor support and also for the Muslim minorities living in in the northern part of Bangladesh with the funding support from OBAT Canada. A total of 353,182 patients with 64% women received health services from PRANTIC Health Program from September 2018 to 30 November 2022. Out of these, a total of 338,368 patients received health services in Cox’s bazar and Bhasan Char and a total of 14,814 with 62% women received health services from Muslim Minority communities living in different Bihari Camps located in 7 Upazilas namely-

  1. Saidpur under Nilphamari
  2. Rangpur Sadar
  3. Badargonj under Rangpur district
  4. Dinajpur Sadar
  5. Parbotipur under Dinajpur district
  6. Iswardi under Pabna district
  7. Joypurhat Sadar under Joypurhat district.

Some other donors such as Refugee Crisis Foundation (RCF), Bee Humble and Med-Global are also providing funding support to continue PRANTIC Health services in 9 Upazilas under 7 districts as stated above.
