PRANTIC Launches Teacher & Volunteer Field Assessments in Cox’s Bazar

Today, the PRANTIC Pooled Fund Team began field assessment activities for Rohingya and host community teaching volunteers, as well as Burmese trainers (supervisors). The Project Manager, MEAL Officer, Senior Program Officer, and Field Facilitators assessed 11 volunteers on the first day. By the end of this week, assessments of all 42 Rohingya and host teaching volunteers and Burmese trainers (supervisors) are expected to be completed. On the 22nd of next week, all participants will also take part in a written competency test.

The outcomes of these assessments will guide PRANTIC’s future planning and activities, ensuring greater effectiveness and alignment with program goals.

Since September 2023, PRANTIC has been successfully implementing the project titled “Support to FDMN in Cox’s Bazar in Education and WASH Sector, Phase-4” under the management of BRAC and funded by (1) the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD), GAC, Canada, and (2) the Commonwealth of Australia represented by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). The project is currently being implemented in Camp-3 (Blocks A, B, C, D, E, F, G) and Camp-09 (Blocks A, C, D, E, F, G), serving more than 700 Rohingya children aged 3–14 across 28 Community-Based Learning Facilities.
