Momota Women Association in Taipalong
Prantic Unnayan Society (PRANTIC), has been continuing its efforts of extending community engagement to achieve sustainable outcome of ongoing development initiatives. Considering this strategy,
PRANTIC has recently formed Momota Women Association in a village named Taipalong under Rajapalong Union of Ukhiya Cox’s Bazar.
About 30 marginalized families of the same village united together to form an Executive Committee of the Association yesterday on 07 October 2022.

The association members are aiming to achieve self-reliance by their own effort through utilizing available resource and opportunities with the facilitation of PRANTIC. The leaders are aiming to participate in the local level decision-making process to protect and promote marginalized people’s rights and to leave peacefully in the area with increased social cohesion so that no one can exploit them by any means.
