Momota Association Received 10 Sewing Machines from HRF
On 27 February 2025, 4 Members of Momota Women Association recieved 10 sewing machines from Human Relief Foundation (HRF). Dr. Obaidur Rahman, The Country Director of HRF was the Chief Guest in this distribution event. PRANTIC Executive Director, Regional Manager and Finance Manager wewre also present during the distribution.
It is important to note that this association has already accummulated BDT more than 1 lak cash and rented some lands for theit members to cultivate vegetables in the locality of Rajapalong union, Ukhiya, Cox’s bazar. Momota leaders are expected to develop entrepreneurships among their members and will take initiative to sell their products in the market. These machines will create an opportunity for the members to achieve sustainability in near future.
