10th Monthly Food Basket Distribution under the Orphan Sponsorship Program Completed in Saidpur
Alhamdulillah!
On October 17, the 10th monthly food basket distribution under the Orphan Sponsorship Program — funded by OBAT Canada and implemented by Prantic Unnayan Society (PRANTIC) — was successfully completed in Saidpur Upazila, reaching 250 orphan families.
Each family received a nutritious food basket containing:
• 18 kg of rice
• 5 kg of flour
• 2 kg of masur daal
• 2 kg of sugar
• 2 liters of soybean oil
This ongoing initiative stands beside orphan families, ensuring they receive essential food support and relief from daily hardships. By meeting their basic needs, the program helps them live with dignity and creates a pathway toward a brighter and more hopeful future.
