Nourishing Lives: PRANTIC & OBAT Canada Continue Food Aid for Orphans in Saidpur”
On June 20, PRANTIC successfully completed the 6th monthly food basket distribution under the Orphan Sponsorship Program in Saidpur Upazila, reaching 250 orphan families. This initiative is part of a year-long effort, with 12 planned distributions to ensure consistent support. Each family received a carefully prepared food basket containing 18 kg rice, 5 kg flour, 2 kg masur daal, 1.5 kg sugar, 1 kg suji, and 2 liters of soybean oil. Since 2022, this vital humanitarian assistance has been made possible through the generous support of OBAT Canada, helping ease daily struggles and bring lasting change to the lives of vulnerable orphan families.
