Ninth Monthly Food Basket Distribution Brings Hope to 250 Orphan Families
Alhamdulillah, yesterday, on September 19, the ninth monthly food basket distribution under the Orphan Sponsorship Program, funded by OBAT Canada and implemented by Prantic Unnayan Society (PRANTIC), was successfully carried out in Saidpur Upazila, reaching 250 orphan families.
This initiative is part of 12 planned distributions throughout the year, standing beside orphan families to ensure their basic needs are met. By providing healthy food support, the program helps reduce daily hardships, uphold dignity, and bring lasting positive change in their lives.
Each family received a thoughtfully curated food basket containing: 18 kg of rice, 5 kg of flour, 2 kg of masur daal, 2 kg of sugar, 2 liters of soybean oil
