Project Title: Continue Adolescent Learning Center in FDMN Community and Livelihood Support in Host Community

Project Period: July 2023 to June 2024

Maiya School Project has been supporting two women cooperatives namely Hilful Women Association located in Sikder Bill, ward no 2 and Momota Women Association located in Taipalong village ward no 5 having more than 100 members organized in 2020 mainly to get empowered and reduce dependency on hasbands income through conducting different market driven economic activities like homestead gardening, organic farming, rearing local chicken, pegion ducks and other entrepreneurships like tailoring, embroidary and handicfats to attain self reliance. Maiya school project, has been supporting the members to develop their capacity through providing leadership training, accounting training, selling skill development, quick compost preparation, quality seed distribution, net distribution and bio-pesticide preparation to protect their crops in a environment friendly way. In addition to providing pickle preparation, Maiya School is also planning to conduct an embroidary and handicraft training for 5 association members.
