2nd Eye Restoration Camp in 2025
On Saturday, April 19, 2025, PRANTIC organised a free Eye Restoration Camp at the Prantic Regional Office, Saidpur, Nilphamari, Rangpur Division. A total of 216 individuals (70 men and 146 women) received eye checkups. Among them, 63 were diagnosed with cataracts, and 47 patients (22 men and 25 women) were referred for surgery at Rangpur Community Eye Care Hospital. One woman with a serious optic nerve issue ( DCR) was also referred for surgery. Due to other health conditions such as asthma, heart problems, high blood pressure, and uncontrolled diabetes, the remaining patients were advised to attend a follow-up next Saturday.
