Conducting Rohingya Women and Adolescent Empowerment Association (RWAEA) Project

Prantic Unnayan Society (Prantic), Bangladesh is organizing and motivating Rohingya women and adolescents to form RWAEA with the funding assistance from Hope International Development Agency Canada in Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar. Prantic is implementing the project in collaboration with OBAT Helpers Inc. USA and OBAT Canada.

This project is located in Block-F, Camp-4, Kutupalong, Rohingya Refugee Camp, Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar.

A total of 158 women and adolescents enlisted their names as member of RWAEA. Two 7 member Governing Body have been formed in Block-C and Block-D through formal election. Some photographs are attached.

Prantic is providing sewing training to 64 members of RWAEA members in Rohingya Women and Girls Empowerment center located in Block-F, Camp-4. The structure is provided by OBAT Helpers, Inc. USA.
